I have been betting online or at land based casinos for a lot of years. I have found out, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even see it up till you are broke. Especially if you are on a run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and even today, I can go too far. It feels like you are just having fun up till you decide to consider your loss and the blame sets in, and of course you keep telling yourself "I can likely win it back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you get sick to your stomach and the more you try the faster you relinquish.

When you find that you are ahead, STAY in the Black! When you begin to lose, do not inform yourself, "well only 1 more" and again and again, believe me, this tactic almost never ever operates. Say you are playing on slot machine games, have a pot separate prior to starting your gaming. DON’T go over this threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to earn, put that in a separate pot. Do not wager your earnings at any cost. After you have wagered through your initial predetermined limit, stop. Back off, whether it is online or at a land based casino, don’t stick around. At all times keep in mind, there will be other days, another time. Obviously, this technique is able to function for any casino game that you gamble on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other casino game.

Remember, betting should be enjoyable not burdensome, appalling work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If you cannot manage the losses, don’t ever start.
